If you're going with the fam, then I'm assuming you're staying out west by the parks. Your best bet at nightlife is to hit Citywalk outside Universal. They got a bunch of bars, try to scoop a tourist. Or you can always head downtown which will be like 20 minutes away, and hit the bars and clubs there.

During the day, obviously there's the parks, but you can also hit the outlet malls and do some shopping for the low.
