I get what you saying but little Ahmed is African(Sudanese specifically),,while i suspect his ambiguous or Hindu look, arabian name and foreign roots make him a more more acceptable to the mainstream than the young AA sister from Florida I suspect cacs are embracing him to to not further agitate the Muslim world and dismiss this incident as a misunderstanding...Merica wants' to show it's Muslims they are friends not enemies...any internationally story on perceived victimization of on Muslims can instigate a terrorism attack...where as cacs mistreat black Americans all the time and he only consequences marches and street protest ...cacs don't feel that same fear of jihad/death from blacks so the are less inclined to go on publicity stunts like they did with little Ahmed to ease the tensions.

if these muslim groups didn't push the issue (they did a damn good job framing this issue) and the kid and his family were pretty savvy too,it would have been swept under the rug too. god i hate this term, but did "black twitter" make her a cause celebre? no they didn't. they're more interested in freeing lucious (i know this happened before empire, but if the same passion that is devoted to bullshyt is focused on real shyt maybe an impact could be made). the only reason this ahmed thing even got the attention of the social media staffs at the white house, mit, harvard, etc is because it was all over social media. once they see a hot issue they mention to their bosses that maybe we should comment on this and then it snowballs from there.
