There are .. reasons.. why Europeans always used to call the US 'The world's richest third world country' although gun violence used to top the list...

All these stats are telling me is that social media was a mistake. There are waaaay too many dumb people in this country who believe all of the propaganda memes they read.

Maybe if we properly educated the poor or something.

Why are you still here? You are extremely unhappy in the US. Move to Cuba or China, you'll be very happy there.

Yup, we have a country being run by the lowest common denominator. I do agree that trying to figure out the causes of autism, which has increased a lot, is really important. I say go over all the research again and do new studies, but I would guess it has more to do

"In America, the biggest killer of kids is gun violence, and the gun lobby would like it to be something else. So we're bringing back measles."

@DaveStrong11
We saw during Covid that a large number of people would literally have loved ones die as long as they can resist the big bad government ruining their lives by having them do something like wear a mask.
27/37
@AlvaRachel64
This is going to backfire so hard. So many kids are going to become ill and infect others. Hell, you can't even work at a school or go to a school without getting some type of flu or cold within a couple of weeks because we all infect each other.

It’s more complex than that. Americans and the rest of the west are living through a decade of information warfare that our governments haven’t countered.
[Quoted tweet]
It’s not simple stupidity. It’s external actors deliberately destroying public confidence in experts and government, weaponizing and amplifying misinformation to break western societies. The data are clear:

This is not trusting your gov taken to a scary extreme.
Even the most nefarious government wants its citizens to be healthy enough to work, consume, and spend money. The idea that they deliberately want to give people autism, or whatever, fails the simple logic test.

@UnseldAndreas
The Germans have a short saying for this that sums it all up."
Mit den Dummen kannst du die Welt umtreiben.
This means essentially, "You can do what you want with the foolish, because they will never understand. Not today and not tomorrow."

@JoshuaBodner
The best part is all the parents that let their kids get polio will be screaming for the government to pay for their iron lungs
