Actually he does, going forward he has to be careful to make sure not to overtrain and lose too much weight and make sure he keeps well fed also......Must be nice, not having to make weight.......
Lots of debate out there whether its more beneficial to:
a) cut lots of weight and then come in like 15-20 lbs heavier than your opponent on fight night
b) fight at or close to natural weight against bigger opponents but have more energy from not cutting.
+1 for option B I guess.

You need to be real skillful to pull B off.
