This thread is all types of wrong and reminds me why I shouldn't post about boxing outside the ring...
I don't even know where to begin...
So we're just going to pretend the fight didn't originally happen because Pac decided to duck steroid testing? A dude with tats "scared of needles" and my personal favorite "blood drawn before the fight will weaken me"...
We're also going to pretend Floyd doesn't age and wasn't the older man...Pac the only one that ages...
Never mind how utterly fukking stupid it is comparing Hagler after Mugabi to Pac after JMM...Mugabi had hands and went to war with Hagler in one of the most brutal fights of all time...Those dudes were unloading bombs on each other and neither was the same after that fight...Hagler was pissing blood after that fight...
JMM exposed Pac inability to cut off the ring and his ring IQ...No version of Packeyow could have ever beaten Floyd, he simply doesn't have the ring IQ to outbox a slick counter puncher like Floyd...They kept fighting JMM believing each time "Manny has figured him out" and he's going to KO him this time...All 4 times he repeated the exact same flaws, he doesn't cut the ring off and is always open for that straight right hand...the final time JMM specifically focused on power because he knew he could land that right hand easy and put his ass down with it...
Those are the facts but keep pretending Floyd found the fountain of youth and waited for this dude to get old...and don't forget the shoulder injury that was cured by the mysterious waters of the Philippines...
