I vividly remember reading the dirtsheets before the Backlash 2004 PPV, and it was WWE's goal to make Orton a "made man" coming out of that Foley street fight, and I saw the PPV live that night and it was a really dope match, Ortons's intercontinental title match against Shelton Benjamin at Bad Blood the very next PPV was really dope too.
I remember ordering that PPV, was a very good match. I thought Orton had next
