Networking wise, we already came into this world at a huge disadvantage. How did y'all turn yourself into an asset and maintain confidence? We're one of the most hated on demographics on the planet and this shyt is crazy. Getting a degree/cert is a given so let's pretend that's not part of the issue for this discussion.

One parent household isn’t all that bad without dysfunction. I feel like confidence comes from life experiences so when people have to learn without guidance it can give them an extra edge over people that didn’t have to go that route. It all depends on one’s mentality to me.

Strive in spite of the ongoing dysfunctio. I made myself a loner early on and never relied on ppl.
Love my pops, never wanted to be like him. Love moms, usually end up with women that carry the same traits. It’s a cycle but u can’t blame em.
