i'm folllowing x number of people who i have "freinded".

i don't get any notifications on they're posts.
can i see who is following me?

can i get a breakdown?

Hover over your name then click on "Your News Feed" & you'll see the activities of everybody you follow.

To see who you follow and who follows you instead of hovering over your name, click on it & look on the right hand side, towards the bottom under settings.

It also can be used for privacy purposes. You can set things about your account to be private except for those that you're following
