This particular year (90 and 91) was really tough.

But, my mother still provided and made ends meet.

All I wanted was

I remeber praying to Santa (I still believed at that time) and God, to just please let me have my Legos box set, and I'll never ask mommy for anything else.

That Xmas morning, that was the only gift under the tree for me. But, it was as if I just won the lottery. For years I played with my Lego set until SNES came out, and money-wise things got better.

I'll never forget that Xmas. It taught me how you could do so much with so little. :to::lawd:

Christmas of 90. I got the original Nintendo with mario duck hunt cartridge. It was the only Xmas that I got what I wanted and I had no idea where my mom got the money for it since she was working 2 part time jobs at the time. I still remember them walking in the living room with it and I was jumping up and down like I won the lottery. Good times.
