Voting is a one thing, but blacks need to organize themselves into a lobby group to influence local politicians, everything start from the bottom and goes to the top. To respond to your question, if you do your research on the candidates, the answer is pretty simple to answered, one candidate is fighting for our rights since the 60's and he's is the only one congressman who speak openly about changing institutional racism even before that word became popular in the media, and the other one only want to be president.
