I'm thinkin about getting my CDL license. Everyone I speak to tells me how in demand they are, and I'm finally at a point where if I gotta hit the road for a few weeks, it'll be ok. I couldn't before because I had my kid full time. Now the baby momma moved 20 minutes away and I got my family too, to help care for her while I'm makin that bread on the road. Anyway.. any advice for me?
I was always under the impression that people with CDL certifications drive the 18 wheel big rigs. And while that's obviously true, I was wondering what other careers/opportunities are offered with a CDL?
I've heard that it can be good money. And to be honest, I wouldn't mind being able to get away for a few days every week, or a few weeks every month.
'Preciate any help and/or advice.
