Moved from Cali to Vegas in 2013

Vegas is boring off strip
Economy is lagging too
110 degree weather and it’ll start raining
Pretty chill and quiet
shyt was like California Jr.
Majority of the people I met out there were from Cali

Might move back (In Bakersfield at the moment)

ya I contemplated moving there in 2007…did some driving around and peeped your first 2 points in bold…neighborhoods looked very drab and rundown when you drove past either end of the strip…especially the area past that one hotel…the circle in sky shyt…having a major brain fart right now (edit—the strat)…and from your post it doesn’t seem as though it’s changed…it’s one of those places that’s just best for me to visit

Life is much better. No state tax and other weird taxes that Cali hits you with so my money goes further. I work remotely and overseas so the job market doesn’t affect me.
