Moved from Cali to Texas last year...lowkey one of the best decisions of my life. I'm grateful to live in this great state

The lake is @6500ft . I swim in it but the water never gets above 55degreez ..

It's spooky swimmimg in it it's so deep 1600ft and clear..

Fishing is amazing .. so many species even salmon

Lived in Cali 2012-2014 and lived in Nevada 2018-2019

Economy is definitely not that good in Nevada(kids graduate high school and work at the casinos or fast food restaurants)however you can make it by just working a single job as oppressed to Cali where you need at least 2 jobs AND a side hustle to survive

Both have dope scenery(I love the desert and the beach)


Cali has more to do as far as entertainment but Nevada nightlife is just as fun(especially if you know where to go outside of the tourist spots)


California weed crushs Nevada weed but you can find some hidden gems(Nevada Wellness Center be having gas and it’s black owned)


I would never move back to California but I want to retire in Nevada and live the rest of my life out there
