Since the outset of the pandemic and the subsequent shutdowns across the nation, services that were once able to deliver groceries on the same day have become burdened by delays that extend as long as a week. I wanted to give a heads up that you can still schedule deliveries that come a lot sooner, but you have to make them early in the morning. Yesterday, I was finally able to order stuff from Whole Foods at 4am, after spending the entire day trying to no avail. So, it seems that these services are still available for same day delivery or something close to it, but you'll have to be persistent and continue refreshing the page of the service you're using.
