I will never understand why you white collar boys make so much and throw it away on rent in trendy neighborhoods. So much affordable real estate in DMV but nikkas wanna be a part of the hypster culture so badI started making 6 figures at 27, in Ohio. But i dont think thats the standard in IT.
Six figures isnt always 6 figures like people think. I depends on where u live. Anything less than 160k in a places like Cali, DC, and NYC are pretty much 85k with the cost of living.
Its nice for bragging right to say you gross 130k a year but not when youre paying 25-30k a year in rent for that 700 sq ft apartment and $8 for a gallon of milk.

yep, pretty much... but I went the military route and tip toeing at 6 figures on just my military pay alone... but i also got side hustles too in the IT gang which pushes me over 6 figures EASILY...
DamnI know a breh that was making 6 figures at 25...he was already making 60K at one job...he took the Red Hat Enterprise Linux test better known as RHEL 6...think they got 7 out now or higher...it's a $400 dollar test...breh got the answers to the exam and got his cert...now new job offers coming in at 80K minnimum and more with experience...he got a 2nd job making 80K with the cert and kept the 60K job on the weekends... so that 60K got cut to half of that when he switched to a part-time shift...so that combined he makes $110K...
Another Breh...went and got the same cert and got hired to work with the Linux team in our department...and he pulled in 80K with that position off the break with other offers in the 6 figure range...
So if you wanna make real doe in IT get that Red Hat Linux certification aka RHEL cert...then finesse your resume...
