What made you want to work in D.C? What made you fall in love in the city and list some of your favorite things about it. I have a job interview lined up with a Big 4 and I want to see y'all responses.

Don’t work in DC proper but about 10 mins outside. I went to college in the area and stayed after graduation.
Outside of NYC and Chicago (slightly) I don’t think any other US city/region compares with the DMV as it concerns work opportunities, city amenities and international access.
You have 3 Int’l airports in the area, you’re 2.5 hrs out of Philly and 4 hrs out of NYC.
I think there’s a lot of potential for this region. With Amazon coming to town we can expect more non-government employers to follow suit. We already have Capital One, Marriott, Hilton etc.
Good public transport and pretty solid night life.
Only thing I’ll say is that it’s a little slow to me, it’s also kind of a conservative due to the Federal Government. Outside of that, great city. Top 5 in the US for me.

I worked and lived in DC for over a year. I did it strictly for the money. Don't be afraid to ask for money. DC is not worth it if you not getting money.
I work for the government and have since my early 20's. I moved to the DC area since the highest government grades (positions) are in this area.
