The dark horse fight in this one is Donnie and MJW. And as much as I joke with people about how Chuck Norris facts mean nothing when you remember Bruce Lee whooped his ass in Way of the Dragon. Real Chuck wasn't no slouch. Have a hard time going against East but it would be close as shyt man. Especially considering the capable size advantage for the west. Like they are bigger but they also aren't untrained.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Jackie say his "fight" training is purely for film. He has no practical experience in an actual fight.

Donnie Yen practices MMA on top of muay thai, boxing and bjj.

The Westerns are larger and have more real world sparring experience. 3 -1 with Chuck being the weakest.

I want to say Lee is a better fighter than Yen, based on hype alone but I can't call it. I don't believe Yen or Lee could beat prime Scott, or Van Damme who are both winning prize fighters. Jai may not be a fighter, but he is a legit martial artist and a nerd about combat sports, on film and IRL. So he's a larger Donnie Yen.

if I'm not mistaken, the only person that has a Fight record is Van Damme

Norris was a karate champ. And MJW has a bunch of Kyokushin fights.

Van Damme is legit obviously.

The problem is both those guys fights predate when there was money in martial arts (Norris and MJW)

And I love Scott Adkins and he's incredible but he has no fight record to speak of.

That being said he's a total badass

I'll take Ong Bak and The Raid crew.

West is winning but if you add Tony Jaa/Ong Bak to the east, I'm picking the east. muay thai since 10 yrs old? man, all those westerners eat 2 leg kicks and it's game over. I've watched a live muay thai fight and that shyt was brtual. leg kicks, elbows, knees to the liver, you could hear the bones clashing.

There's a reason professional fighters go to train in thailand. I think Jon Jones was just there a month ago.
