I've been to quite a few music festivals and concerts last 2 months.
It's not the same man.....
These days sometimes as soon as I get there I wanna go home :flabbynsick:

I'm wondering, is that it for me?
Are those days gone?
These performances are not cheap.
Do ya'll still enjoy these typa things?

I don't know what to do anymore
I always go with liquor in me, maybe that's the issue.

But it's so not the same like it used to be

I'm 39 years old.

Concerts, I still love. I just saw NaS at the Wynn in Vegas with an orchestra and it was incredible.

Music Festivals are an emphatic NO for me. I'm never going to one again unless I'm backstage or VIP.

I like going to concerts where I'm comfortable, I have a seat, there's drinks, I'm not in the sun all day and I can see the artist I want to see and go home.

I can't do music festivals where I have to be in the sun all day, stand long food/bathroom lines and wait hours for the artists I actually want to see. The appeal of a music festival is to be there all day, party, get drunk/high and see dozens of artist for very little money. It's just run it's course for me because the whole thing wears me out if I stay longer than a couple of hours.

Yes, but as you get older you're more willing to pay for convenience. So now I opt for the VIP areas where there's seating, shade, and better bathrooms than port o pottie (usually air conditioned trailers when its outdoors) also designated bars/food vendors..

GA is coo in your 20's when you don't mind standing, fukking up your kicks, and waiting in line to pee ...but now fuuuuuuuck that

Never could do concerts and it’s only worse now that I’m older. Live music at a bar or brewery is my personal hell. The only exception are small venues where sound quality is better
