Question for the comic collectors here ... whats your prize possession.. I don't mean most valuable although that can be the same..

I think for me its my Amazing Spider #300 .. and Batman Sword of Azrael.. I just love looking at those more than anything else in my collection.. Honorable mention to Spider-Man and Spawn

I got a shytload of miscellanous first issues... cause if I'm anywhere and see a #1 I'll snatch it up.

But I haven't even read most of them.

I got a 1976 first-run Oversized Fantastic Four that I got from a thrift shop for a dollar

Its huge. I zoomed out to show you how big it is. Its actually a nuiesence to even store anywhere cause it always sticks out no matter where I put it.
(I put a random comic next to it for size comparason)

I got a copy of Runaways signed by Brian K Vaughn (the writer) so thats pretty sweet.

Thats it, really though. I mean... I have a ton of comics but I don't really have any prized ones. I have favorites, like "Great Lakes Avengers: Misassembled" but its not really worth anything or hard to find.

I'm building my Piers Anthony book collection at the moment so I been focused on that more than comics lately. I'm up to like around 50 books.
I'm tryna get every book he ever wrote.

I think i still got Amazing Spidey #500 too. I've got some i can't remember

i mostly pride myself on copin entire runs issue by issue though. I've got Snyder's Batman run from issue 1 to 50 minus the annuals, Matt Fraction's entire Hawkeye Run 1st printing, Hickman's entire Avengers/New Avenger run, minus a single issue. Hickman's East of West minus #16. Every Santoluoco drawn issue of IDW TMNT minus #44 and his current 2 issues. Et. cetera
