so ur friend freely volunteered to go to court and get child support stipulations....and the woman did not want to? :heh:

U must be younger than 21... Hoes change their minds everyday, one day she could wake up 12 years down the line and want child support.. He'd owe a hell of alot more counting interest at that point. He protected himself from the future

Every state is different, but most don't allow for retroactive support from the day the child was born. The norm is retroactive support from the day you file the original motion in court.

If your case is heard in a timely fashion the most you would owe is 4 to 6 months of back support, aka arrears.

In Texas if unmarried it goes to the day the baby was born, have a cousin going through this now but he will be ok
