I'm not gonna lie, I fukk with Lil baby, but the first time I heard him talking at the beginning Of "Narcs" I literally busted out laughing.

The way Atlanta nikkas talk is crazy to me, like a another language damn near. But NO and Chicago got the same shyt, the slang and blaccent is so thick it's like a different language.

It's the same/similar thing that caribbean brehs do with dialect. It's not only drawl but it's combining two words to make a new word i.e. finna, gonna, wanna, gotta, shoulda, coulda, imma. It's just a faster way of talking with shorter sentence structure. I think it's rooted in the way blacks through the diaspora communicated during slavery.​
