“I have been impressed with just about every new game console for one reason or another and have been a long-time Xbox player," “I’m really sorry to say that the Microsoft Xbox One ‘Day One’ Edition just didn’t impress me like prior generations, and I think you are probably better off waiting it out until the current situation changes. I admit, this could be my over-expectations or truly an under-delivery, but at any rate, let me hopefully provide some insight here.”

Forbes is weird. They'll put out two pro-XBOX articles, followed by 3 semi-pro-PS4 articles, and a week later, one devastatingly anti-XBOX one. It's like they don't know what their opinion is.

at least they arent biased

i noticed the same thing about forbes
The thread starter is biased, thats why this thread is here.
Now is the story a negative story? Not really. Its more of a person who has no idea wtf he is talking about, talking :hula:

Why I say that?

Well the thread starter took a "piece" of what he was saying out which thus takes it out of context
You see, if it was in its proper context, you could see the guy really is not the guy you'd want reviewing gaming systems. Further more, his reason for why its not a good buy right now? Lack of games :win:
Now there are a ton of games out on both systems. This guy based his article on 3gms (didn't even name them)
If games is his problem, and lack of system features :heh: Then the PS4 to him = :trash:
Here's the whole "conclusion" he wrote...
Better Off Waiting

As I reflect on my purchase, I am glad I got the chance to experience the Xbox One from a more academic, analyst approach, but I definitely have a personal consumer buyer’s remorse and am considering returning my unit. My gaming-addicted son got bored as well due to the lack of games, which speaks even bigger volumes to me. Please do not confuse my assessment with what I think the Xbox One today could become in the future. I truly believe that Microsoft will address all the shortcomings I have outlined above within the year and I think the value proposition will be a lot better. But for this round, unless you just feel cool telling your friends you just got the latest Xbox One, I’d strongly consider sitting this one out. Microsoft will sweeten the pot later on by lowering price, shrinking the form factor and fixing all the bugs. They did it with the 360 and they will do it with the One.
1.) He says he might return the system (oh so they do returns now on working systems :beli: )
2.) He sites a price drop, then says they did it with the 360. The 360 didn't lower its price til like 3yrs later thus showcasing why this man is not the guy you'd want to review gaming :manny:
3.) Look at his self proclaimed resume...

I am the #1 ranked tech industry analyst in the U.S. and U.K. (Apollo Research October 2013) and one of the most cited tech analysts in the world. Disruptive consumer technologies and usage models are what really change the landscape. They determine the tech losers and winners and that's what I will be covering. I am Founder and President of Moor Insights & Strategy, an independent technology analyst firm that has been cited as experts globally in the media.
So that shabby review, and he's the #1 tech industry analyst in the US and UK :dead:

Don't worry Coli, Real Reviews coming sooner than later :myman:
(Also, his company is called Moor Insights & Strategy? Hidden Colors anyone?)
