What happens if your credit card payment bounces while on the autobahn? Does the car suddenly turn off? Can you keep the engine running forever to avoid the downgrade? Lol

Bottom wagon is clean. But every generation of the golf has looked like a cornball-mobile only to be driven by flannel loving cacs or nikkas named Lamar who don't get line-ups and have an anime girl pillow on their bed.

so this is like if Ford didn’t make both a V6 and V8 mustang model but instead locked the additional HP behind a paywall..which would save them costs

I don’t see the big outrage tbh .
The paywall means they're selling you a gimped car and charging you extra to use it at spec. Just sell the car as is at the full price. The "lifetime" subscription is only $700.

:childplease: the Arteon is no longer is production for the US market and we never got the estate version overseas. The Mk 8 Golf is only sold over here in the GTI and R variants. You're proving my point- but to be clear, Volkswagen of America fell off. Dieselgate made them bush a lot of good cars and start selling SUVs I don't want and electric cars nobody wants.

EU Volkswagen still has some gems

Volkswagen fell off and I say this as an owner. Dieselgate really turned them into a bunch of pussies. And most of the cars they sell now don't look good anymore.

VW in Europe moves totally different in terms of the cars they offer versus the US. Their cars are fantastic they offer in Europe compared to the milquetoast the US gets :scust:

Golf R Wagon? Polo GTI? Next gen Touareg? Turbocharged VR6 in the Arteon? Hell, I WISH they offered that stuff stateside, even if the numbers were small. shyt, even that Spectrum option they had for the last gen Golf R was fantastic -- when's the last time you saw an automaker offer 40+ colors on one model car? :dahell:
