Captain america would actually be a much more difficult fight for batman than superman because he has no clear vulnerability.
Batman would simply expose superman to kryptonote and the fight is pretty much over.
What are you going to do against Captain America besides fight? And almost NOBODY beats cap in a fist fight; Captain america is quite literally the peak of human limits of stregnth, reflexes, speed, agility, etc. Batman trained himself to get there, captain america took a serum to get there. Captain america beat the breaks off of spiderman in civil war, I don't know what Batman would do besides use Captain America's moral compass to make him submit.

Bats before all this new universe shyt couldn't beat Shiva, Richard Dragon, Bronze Tiger, Deathstroke (due to a healing factor and unlimited stamina), Cassandra Cain or Connor Hawke because they were simply better Hand to Hand. Hell, Prometheus beat the shyt out of Bats between panels just by having them and some other people uploaded on a helmet that gave him their skills but no knowledge how to use them. Bats only won in their second fight because he uploaded the fighting skills of Stephen Hawkings into the helmet.
Cap's only human peers hand to hand in Marvel are Wolverine (due to healing factor and unlimited stamina), Black Panther (for the same reason), Shang Chi (Chi Amping) and Iron Fist (Chi Amping). Cap's mastered fighting techniques that aren't going to be invented until around the time that Kang is born, centuries into the future.
Bats isn't seeing them hand to hand, either. Except maybe for a armorless Kang.
The one time Cap fought the SAME Prometheus that trounced Bats, he beat him in a single panel and said that the helmet wasn't anything the Nazis hadn't shown him during World War 2.
2. Even if they WERE equally skilled and they fought hand to hand till one of them dropped, Bats is ALWAYS going to drop first. For the same reason he loses against Deathstroke without Prep. Superior stats all across the board and Cap isn't going to get tired. If it were two clone Mayweathers fighting and you gave one Nyquil, who do you think will lose? The Floyd that gets tired first.
3. Even with gadgets and shyt, what's Bats going to do? Drug him? That doesn't work. Gas him? Hit him with a laser? You think Cap hasn't dealt with that stuff before? Bats would prolly fall for the boomerang shield trick.
As far as Prep-Time™ goes, Bats may as well nuke him from space and PRAY TO GOD that Cap doesn't block that shyt with his shield and come looking for him.
No, I don't care if Bats has wrapped up Killer Croc in a steel wire or pulled Kryptonite out of his belt or told Darkseid he'd blow up the planet if Darkseid didn't say "okay you win" after already slapping the shyt out of him.
Bats ain't beating Cap, Wolverine, Black Panther or anybody else that you could logically think of in a fight without one sided fanboy wishing or MASSIVE one sided Prep-Time™.

But how though? Cap is a battle hardened soldier, with super strength and agility. How the hell is Batman beatin dude with some fake ninja moves. Bane put the beats on him with some wrestlin moves. Yep, from what I remember in both fights they were portrayed as being evenly matched. In one of them, they stopped fighting and teamed up; in the other, batman won but the fight was decided on fan voting
