I know its baseball and all, but still. even from a non-coli, National point of view. they have become completely irrelevant, with no star power and a horrendous stadium. Yankees use to thrive on name-power, storylines, controversy, and a historic stadium, they have none of that anymore :dahell:

Are you kidding me breh? We won a chip 5 or 6yrs ago, we won the division 2 times recently, we've been to the playoffs in the last few yrs and to top it all off. We have the best record in baseball this season so far.

This team is headed in the right direction

It was 8 years ago. & you completely missed my point. Not talking about playoffs or direction I'm talking relevance. They have 0 star power

Like someone already said, that's just baseball as a whole having no legit star power. They got some great players, but the days of griffey, bonds, manny, jeter are over. I can't tell you the last time I saw a baseball player with an endorsement commercial or signature shoes

Teams rebuild all the time, you can't stay at the top with star power forever because eventually those stars have to retire and new stars have to establish themselves.

And then your thread has such horrible timing because the Yanks are at the top of the standings and Judge has been talked about nonstop and compared to legends like Jeter, Bonds etc..
