Forgetting To Save A Game & Having To Start Over Unappreciation

I put in 3 hours on Golden Sun this morning, passed the first dungeon. Thought i saved it but i guess not


Still aint as bad as that time i got to the end of Kingdom Hearts only for my file to say "Corrupted Data"

Alien Isolation only has manual saves. I had to get used to it, cause my 'gamer mind' is so used to there being constant auto-saves, especially after 'major events'. shyt is heartbreaking when you die and realize you haven't saved in mad long

Yeah breh I had to train myself when I played that game to save everytime I see one of those save points on the wall

theres been a few times where i beat gym leaders by A hair in Pokemon only for me to forget to save AFTER the battle

I do this when I go back and play classic games. Been so conditioned to not have to hit save myself that I forget to do it.

Breh this happened playing the last of us the first time. I got it from redbox, played all night and got through about a 3rd of the game. Thought it was auto saving the whole time. The next had to start over, got pissed and returned the game.

Most games now auto-save, and even older games usually have BIG ASS SAVE CRYSTALS before bosses/big dungeons. So I fail to see how one can forget to save.
