Former Bad Boy rapper Loon, who now goes by the name Amir Junaid Muhadith, has reportedly been given a 14-year prison sentence after being found guilty of drug trafficking charges that stem from 2008.

Amir recently spoke on the matter while behind bars, explaining that the charges were falsely based off of criminal conspiracy. "Some individuals had crossed my path who were interested at one point about the music business," he said. "These individuals called me in regards to something that was totally away from the lifestyle and the life I was living. The fact that I responded to these individuals placed me under the umbrella of conspiracy."

Amir goes on to explain that had he gone to trial and lost, he would have faced mandatory life in prison. Listen to the full clip below.

its sad but dude knew he was going in, main reason for the religion shift, the investigation that got him fukked up is from NC, a kingpin type cat went in the feds... and everyone he loved started telling...but in a major way, the kingpin of the entire investigation printed an independent magazine telling the locals about the snitching, showing court docs and letters sent home from prison trying to set up third party buys they could get the kingpin charged with... in order to lower their sentences, I remember smh reading it when there was something there about loon & :takedat: being "associates" of the rich cat. One :hamster: nikka wrote a letter to the boys about how he's helped them and wants to be home for the holidays...disgusting
