Former Colts Lineman Admits to Crazy Cheating Scandal to Help Peyton Manning
Well, well, well, what do we have here?
The Indianapolis Colts will always be tied to cheating scandals, as they were the team that blew the whistle on the Patriots for the whole "Deflategate" scandal, sparking one of the most ludicrous investigations in sports history.
But what if the high-and-mighty Colts weren't so squeaky clean themselves? It sounds like maybe that's the case. Former Indy lineman Tarik Glenn just admitted to helping Peyton Manning cheat back in his rookie season.
Basically, Glenn admitted to using illegal hearing aids to help Peyton Manning deal with crowd noise and get the calls out to his lineman.
“We were playing on the road, it might have been Peyton’s rookie year, and it was really loud. Peyton hadn’t mastered the silent count," Glenn said. "So Howard Mudd had us wearing these hearing aids that were supposed to muffle the crowd while projecting the quarterback’s voice.”
STOP THE PRESSES. WE NEED AN INVESTIGATION INTO THIS ASAP. Who cares if it's almost 20 years old and there's no possible way to prove it at this point? WE NEED ANSWERS.
Considering what happened to the Pats, we expect the fullest penalty to be handed down at this point.
