"You look at the way Bryan’s been booked since Summer Slam. An argument you see a lot is that Daniel Bryan’s PPVs didn't increase numbers and neither did his RAW segments well you gave him shytty booking that involves belittling him every single week. I think it’s terrible storytelling, it’s not what the people want and when people bytch about Bryan’s ratings and say well that’s the reason they’re not going with him they gave him a shot already. not everybody is gonna be booked like hogan or even orton/cena/batista. Rey getting beat up and winning miraculously is logical and fans got behind it knowing he'd save the day at the end. he held the whc for like 3 months after a wrestlemania win. Thats not bad.

people have to accept that some guys aren't tier zero guys and rey is great, and was a good champ but nah he's not going to beat undertaker and batista clean without the other guys getting offense and him using speed and slick-ness

I can agree with this but if your going to put the belt on someone at least give them a respectable run
I hate the champ that jobs all the time but wins when it counts

I agree that not everyone should be booked like Hogan or Cena. But they overdid the "ultimate underdog" thing they were doing with Rey, he was nowhere near as over with the crowd as he was going into Mania after his title reign. I mean, I don't think they completely fukked it up - after all, he was their top 3 draw for like three or four years - but they that title reign didn't do him a lot of favors imo.
