I remember I used to use these strength shoes and do calf raises all the time. I wish I knew what I know now, I would've been doing squats, deadlifts, box jumps, etc.
For me, I don't think they really helped. The summer that I went swimming and rode my bike all the time was when I felt like I was jumping out the gym.
