Yeah, he said in some other interview that part of the contract got stretched and he was still owed money. The way he said it though made it seem like he was having to fight to get the rest of it so I'm not 100% sure. Nothing about him makes it seem like he's hurting for paper at all though, despite all of the things that happened in his life (being out of the league so long, alcoholism, a divorce I assume with children, taking care of so many people, obviously the payout from the murder, etc).

And much respect for Charles Oakley looking out for him since college and through the hard times
That the part I heard on my way to work yesterday.

He said if they knew you were gonna be drafted, the players already in the league, would loan them money. Oakley was like "I'll give u 20 thou, and you'll pay me 25 thou back:ufdup:"
