:mjlol: Mannnnnn we’re not gonna act like bruh’s music was that tough lol. With that being said let bruh cook. Can’t clown bruh for making an honest living. I remember people were doing the same bs to Roscoe Dash, and homie from The Cosby Show.

How do we know he broke tho? What if buddy just found his next passion in life after music. Music game wasn’t too kind to him anyway lol…

:salute: to makonnen I rocked with his music back then and happy to see he being productive now

I feel your devil’s advocateness…

but na….. buddy broke.

If this was passion and he had money…. He wouldn’t be wearing No apron

And that shirt is from KMart….. I know cuz a specific coli poster who loves WWE shops there and gets most of his clothes from there

Breh, Tuesday came out in 2014.

Do you truly believe that he made THAT much money off that song+ whatever songwriting he did while with OVO....to never have to work again?

Even being conservative, he should’ve made at least 200k in his career. He had a hit and must have been getting at least 20k per show at that time—enough to buy a home and later become an electrician or something similar. You shouldn’t have to work as a server after all that.

Man...y'all not considering fact that having a successful music career is like hitting the lottery. And the fortune and fame are fleeting
He’s a horrible artists who actually caught one. It is what it is. If he’s working in a store so be it

It’s astonishing how many grown men in here are astonished that a former artist of this ilk has to get a job to earn income a decade AFTER his last point of relevancy.

Do you not know how money or the entertainment industry work?

Who’s buying tickets to his shows, buying his merchandise, streaming his music, giving him writing credits on their hits, bringing him on a stadium tour, cutting him checks to represent their brand in 2025? In 2020? In 2017?

And if they were, at what volume? And who else is taking their cut before he sees a cent?

Artists will way more notoriety them him are broke too, they just front to maintain an image or they completely disappear from the public eye.

Don’t be gullible brehs.

What happened to him? it seemed like he was on an upward trajectory in music
in what sense. he had one song and everything else was trash.

he did not have an upward trajectory. more like dead on arrival. couldn't make anything else got dropped and ghosted by his label

tried to keep creating elsewhere and had terrible music.

we live in an era where people can just pic up a mic one day get a random viral hit and not be artists. then struggle to actually try and build a career after the fact. most of the other tent writers at least managed to get billing on Drake albums and get their own side releases. Dude couldn't do shyt.

I dont believe this for a second.

He's known enough to where he could make money doing random shows, writing, etc...
:dahell: he couldn't do any of that when he was relevant.

i dunno wtf is wrong with you dudes... what catalogue was he touring? he was signed to write and he never wrote shyt that's why he is in an apron
