Kid should’ve stayed with those mysterious vibes his videos had before OVO… his sound was so organic and ahead of it’s time, plus no one knew what he even looked at , let alone he was a pillow biter

My favorite joint by him

Kid was on a generational unsigned run, one of the first “soundcloud rappers”… he was next before Drake Shang Tsung’d him and took his soul

I know this dude as in I've met him/bought shrooms been adjacent to him/kicked it with him, back in 2010-2014 JUST before that stupid Tuesday song blew up and he started getting more famous/popular. This shyt gotta be a front 'cause he really was the plug out in Orange County during the summers I was holed up there being a drug tourist degenerate. Dude was mad passionate about music and one of the most courteous drug dealers I ever met, which says alot.

I hate the song Tuesday because I abhor drake, but it was just something about his rap/music that made the shyt stand out. I mean, who the fukk wants to hear a poor voiced Opera singer rap over trap beats? But the shyt just fukkin' worked. I hope he's good 'cause he was a real cool and positive dude.

Him fumbling it breaks my heart.. when he was dropping all those mysterious videos with the mannequin head, NO ONE sounded like him.. his shyt was different and ahead of its time

These guys never had more than $20-$40K at a time

$20-$40K of money that requires them to spend it to maintain a lifestyle as they travel, likely with entourage

You are either a top tier industry cash cow or you have cult fan base but if you are not one of those, if you are flavor of the month

Enjoy the memories you’re gonna make, that’s the real value in it all

The beautiful thing is his name will always be his name. If he puts a song out right now people will listen because what he’s been able to do.

The rest is up to him

Young breh might love it or grow to love the food industry :yeshrug:

I’m white collar now, but I know with the fukk head in office that might not be stable . I’d cook right alongside breh to pay my bills and because I previously found joy in cooking.

Peace to the breh

From The Westside With Love
Even being conservative, he should’ve made at least 200k in his career. He had a hit and must have been getting at least 20k per show at that time—enough to buy a home and later become an electrician or something similar. You shouldn’t have to work as a server after all that.

Even if he constrained his lifestyle to what the average American brings in ( ~40k/yr)....just how long do you think that money would've lasted?

As far as stories of rappers from the mid 2010's who's careers didn't pan out go..... him being a guest chef in Portland is nowhere near the bottom of the list.

Was he supposed to be lifetime retirement breaded up from one song? But last I saw he was doing hair, that was a better look lol
