I guess they do a better job now at not showing them. But back in the Attitude era the ear pieces were easy to notice.No. . And now that I really think about it they almost would have to have them. I am such a mark.

Same, Batista wrote in his book that it was an accident, but I thought he was just protecting kayfabe a bit, and that the original plan was to make their two new golden boys look almost equal, ala Bret/Luger.

He was near Kofi & Cena and they just looked at each other like
Nobody on commentary acknowledged it, and as it actually affected the match (Riley was meant to eliminate Cena later on via Miz distraction) so the refs had to use the earpieces to relay a message to Miz (who was on commentary) to improvise a spot later on where Riley ran back out so Miz could eliminate Cena from behind.

At last years RR, Titus was supposed to be eliminated within one second but Roman, Dean and him fukked up and he ended up lasting four. It was a big deal because he was supposed to tie Santino. I think they even cut it out the next night on Raw, I can't remember.Wonder if there's been any botches during the Rumble?
