even as a youngin, he was always a bum to me.

If there was one constant about Tartabullshyt during his Yank days, it's that he was gonna take a great big hack with his bat and hit a towering HR in the old stadium, or he was gonna take a great big hack with his bat and strike the fukk out in glorious fashion. :sadcam:

I was too young at the time to know how he did with his other teams prior to his Yankee days, but boy did he become :flabbynsick: status (playing on some :flabbynsick: Yankee teams his first couple years here) pretty fast before our very eyes.

Tino Martinez replaced him as the big bat in a lineup that wasn't built around big bats, and it was :blessed: to have a guy who's bat responded to the situation consistently. If we needed a HR, Tino could do it. If we needed a single to keep a rally going, Tino could do it. Nothing but love for #24 :smugfavre: :smugfavre:
