If there was one constant about Tartabullshyt during his Yank days, it's that he was gonna take a great big hack with his bat and hit a towering HR in the old stadium, or he was gonna take a great big hack with his bat and strike the fukk out in glorious fashion.
I was too young at the time to know how he did with his other teams prior to his Yankee days, but boy did he become
status (playing on some Yankee teams his first couple years here) pretty fast before our very eyes. Tino Martinez replaced him as the big bat in a lineup that wasn't built around big bats, and it was
to have a guy who's bat responded to the situation consistently. If we needed a HR, Tino could do it. If we needed a single to keep a rally going, Tino could do it. Nothing but love for #24
