Loving szn 3 so far, the show just keeps looking better every season. All the planets look interesting and unique and I’m invested in all the storylines unlike season 1 when the show would get a little stale on Terimnus. I love how each rendition of Dawn, Day, and Dusk have been different despite being played by the same actors. I was worried about the Mule being OP but episode 2 showed he does have some limitations. Best Sci Fi currently on TV

I’m just watching this show now. Im on episode 10 of the first season. I have no knowledge of the source material so I’m not invested like that.

Parts of it are great, but most of it feels like a network TV sci fi show from the 60s. It feels like if someone took scripts from OG Star Trek and made it today without accounting for everything that we have seen in the sci fi realm since. It’s both charming and Meh at the same time.

I do like the performances of the two black leading actresses and Brother Day though.

Long story short.

Series based off a series of books by Issac Asimov, the father of modern sci fi. Books came out in the 50s.

Parts were cut out to make the Dune series, then later on, the series was watered down to make Star Wars.

I may have spoken too soon. Episode 10 was straight fire.

I tapped out midway thru s1. I did not like the main chicks acting and some of the writing is terrible, which sucks because Lee Pace as brother day is fukking INCREDIBLE. I was thinking of trying to give it another go to see if the later seasons get better

They really stepped it up in episode 10. Hopefully the rest of the show is on that level.

First season was a chore to get through but was needed because this story moves fast af after that.

They already in the future now. A lot of time changes and traveling (hyper-sleep).

Great show, but Ican’t do this every week shyt. I lose focus on the story. I will just probably fall back for a few weeks and rewatch everything, because it’s dense.
