San Francisco is insanely overpriced for everything. People who make 100k a year live like animals. Why would anyone be surprised that they are paying $3.50 or whatever for a slice of toast?
As much as people talk about gentrification of New York City....the shyt happening in San Fran is probably worse.

I'm from there too. No hate. I think it's a busy beautiful place but i hate the air. Used to not be that bad.That's my Bay Area
Last time I went there for a job and was hungry, went to Mcdonald's to get something to eat, walking across the street with my bag and a gush of funk blew in my face. Not only ruined my appetite but made my stomach hurt (made feel like I had to use the restroom).But you said it's overrated tho

Everyone else was used to it and unbothered though.
