I'd be happy with O but I hope we can get him at a discount. He doesn't demand the market that a top tier coach would. I give him 3-4 million a year and use the rest of the money to 1. Give Aranda a raise to make sure he stays and 2. Get a top tier OC who can develop a QB.fukk that shyt, LSU hasn't looked this dominant since 2011. Jim McElwain, Florida will be without 7 starters Saturday at LSU
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida will be without seven starters Saturday when it plays at LSU.
Asked if he ever has lost more starters in a two-game stretch, coach Jim McElwain responded, “No.”

The Gators were without four starters going into this past Saturday’s win over South Carolina: quarterback Luke Del Rio, linebackers Alex Anzalone and Jarrad Davis and center Cameron Dillard. During the victory over Will Muschamp and the Gamecocks, the Gators lost safety Marcus Maye for the season with a broken arm, and defensive end Bryan Cox Jr. and left tackle David Sharpe suffered injuries that will keep them out this week.

In addition, two others — starting guard Tyler Jordan and defensive end CeCe Jefferson — are questionable this week. Jordan actually started at center against South Carolina in place of Dillar, but was injured on the Gators’ first play of the game. Redshirt freshman T.J. McCoy filled in admirably.
“The guys you’re talking about, some real significant pieces. But at the same time, you know what, we got a bunch of guys jumping in there and playing their tails off,” McElwain said. “And it’s fun to see these guys who are nicked up taking a big role in being involved in the guys that are playing. That’s what I kind of like.”
The SEC East title is on the line this week. If the Gators win in Baton Rouge — something they’re looking to do for the first time since 2009 — they win the division. Should they lose, they still can win the division if Tennessee loses to either Missouri this week or Vanderbilt next week.
Florida will be relying on numerous backups this week, and McElwain praised them for their play against South Carolina.
“We had a lot of really good plays by a lot of young guys, and that’s a good thing,” McElwain said. “That’s what they came here to do. They came here to play.”

He said the Gators have to get past the injuries.
“If you’re OK with having excuses, how good is your life gonna be?” he said.
LSU has won three in a row in the series overall; the Tigers’ longest streak in series history is four in a row from 1977-80.
