I don't understand how Republicans don't take this as an opportunity to seize some of the black vote. Their hate for blacks can't be THAT strong that they would rather keep losing than side with them. Blacks are morally conservative to begin with...

This mess in Ferguson. Not that I agree but there's ALOT of political ammo to be used against Obama and the Dems over this shyt. But you'd actually have to pretend to give a fukk about black people to do so.
I don't see how. What should republicans be saying to black people? How could they beat the democrats up with this?

They like to gloss over that while forgetting how we came to this point..is it all on white people? NO but a big majority of it is, we're not doing ourselves any favors, but the system that got us to this point is STILL HERE...

hmmm I'm not familiar with Kelly's body of work...but when Fox appears to be sounding reasonable then there's typically something afoot.

Again, not that i agree with it, but they could point at the fact that Obama hasn't really done anything about Ferguson, bring up that he hasn't done THAT much for the black community etc. They can criticize every little thing he does internationally, but a HUGE crisis like this and he gives a 10 min speech and sends Eric Holder. They could also point out the Democratic governor doesn't seem to care about black people all that much either. Again, I don't agree with any of these points, just strategically speaking, they could easily put a dent on the stronghold the Dems have on African Americans.
Yup, It's hard pressed to find a black person over 35 who isn't pro life and anti gay marraige. As a whole, blacks are a very religious people, but they vote democrat for economic purposes. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, black people were notoriously Republican until Kennedy. MLK was in jail and asked for Nixon's help i believe, and Nixon was too busy campaigning, thinking that he didn't need to really focus on the black vote. Kennedy saw that as an opportunity, went to visit MLK in jail and black people have been voting democrat ever since.
