Was literally talking to my 81 year old grandmother about this yesterday. She’s afraid to leave the house even with fsmily because she watches the news all day and they show the worse of the worse all over the country and it makes her feel like it’s all happening right now in her city.

She’s terrified because the news is literally only into promoting fear

Tuning out news helps a person's psyche alot.

With that said people really should be aware of their surroundings when out.

And avoid shady spots or situations. No that's no guarantee. But it does reduce risk. And if it ain't blood family stay out of it.
