Broken Silence was ok...

I think Fox was going through something during the making of the album. It's like she lost her will to rap.

24th Anniversary of Chyna Doll release? Each and every person should have the day off today.

This album literally came and went. I remember hearing "Hot Spot" Summer '98 and seeing the video late '98. Loved the video, but the song was ok. The voice change didn't help. Then "I Can't" dropped in 1999 which I thought was dope and was more in the vein of what she was doing on Ill Na Na. The album itself had a handful of dope songs, but could've been better. Had a wack Jay Z feature, a generic Down South joint with Juvenile, 8Ball & MJG, and a lot of filler.

"My Life" was the highlight. "BWA" with Mia X and Gangsta Boo was lit as was the collabo with DMX.

Not really a landmark album where you remember where you were buying it and listening to it.... I believe a huge fall off from her debut album but then again I was never really listening to her music like that outside of features and a few songs.
