A photo of a prisoner eating a Popeyes chicken sandwich from behind bars has sent social media into meltdown.

Images posted to a Frank Gutta's Facebook page and shared across Twitter shows the inmate enjoying the infamous $3.99 chicken sandwich, which has sold out across America.

'Trying to see what all the hype bout,' Gutta says in the story. A follow up picture is captioned: 'Thanks Bae.'

they do a lot there.... i assume to keep them entertained and from killing each other not to mention a way to capitalize (they charged 10 dollars for two double burgers lol)
bro told me they had a concert for nipseys bday, basketball tournaments, etc. i can bring him food for certain holidays
