I know this is mindblowing & may be hard to comprehend. You can like artists/writers who have a different sexuality than yours, Queen-Freddie Mercury is a perfect example.

Have you read James Baldwin? He was gay, he was a genius of literature. Elton John has great music, that doesn't take away from his work of music. I enjoy a wide variety of artists, as long as it isn't explicit & graphic in nature, I don't have a problem with that.

This guy is gay but he lead one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

His writing doesn't contain having "sweet time" with men. It contains various personal themes we always deal with in life: death, illness, frustration, pain, sadness, etc.

Frank being gay shouldn't be looked at as something as mocking or condescending, it is his choice. Judge him on his art and what he has to offer, not because you think he is "Sweet" you won't check for him. That sums up alot about how simple minded you are. You understand that probably someone close to you is likely gay? (the odds are really high against you, breh), are you going to laugh at them because they don't share the same sexual preference? Who knows, it might be your brother or sister who struggles with it. You never know.

What black man listens to QUEEN?

Christ i remember when that Waynes World movie came out and cacs were blasting that garbage everywhere. It was raining men out this bytch. Stop it. Never again. Queen = trash. Frank Ocean = trash. Mackelmore = trash.

Frank Ocean is talented, and I like almost everything he's done......He was impressive as always on 'Wolves', but I wonder if it's been too long for him to really make any impact sales wise....and music? If it's dope, I am with it. I am skeptical though, when someone that talented takes almost 4 years off, when his Nostalgia"ultra dropped about a year before his debut. And since, nothing. Not even a tape. An EP. Or a real song.

I will say it seems like 10 years rather then 4, when he was compared with the Weeknd. There is no longer room for that discussion.
