I think backlash is trying to say there's no such thing as "being gay"...only "gay activities and behaviors"...in an attempt to separate sexual orientation from things like race, ethnicity and gender in the context of equality, discrimination, etc...which is prolly bullshyt...i think people are born gay...if you are sexually attracted to the same sex, you are a homosexual...whether you act on that attraction is irrelevant...a gay person that just one day decides to stop having gay sex isn't all of a sudden straight, just an abstinent homo
