Jay did nothing wrong, there’s nothing wrong with him trying to be a team owner no matter how small the stake is. There’s nothing wrong with him having a position of power within the NFL.

that's not the issue.

- he was blatantly woke wave riding with Kaep (he also has a history of wave riding, but that's another thread).
- told other nikkaz not to fukk with the NFL because of what they were doing to Kaep (receipts available too)
- turn around and fukk with the NFL himself to get bread, be a social justice "mouthpiece" for them, and potentially some ownership stake

If the first 2 points didn't happen, I don't think the backlash would be as bad. But they did so the optics look bad to many.

Jay ain’t ever risk his career for nothing he’s ever done. Doesn’t take away the good he’s done but Kaep still doesn’t have a job. That in itself should atleast warrant some type of respect. Especially when he ain’t did shyt wrong.
Kap didnt risk his career...
...shyt just ended up happening.

People on both sides hijacked what was happening and he ended up in the middle of it...
...he was pretty much forced to choose a side....the side that benefited him.

I get that but at the same time how did Kaepernick know what he did was going to cost him his job? Kaepernick wasn’t the only NFL player protesting. Marshawn Lynch, St. Louis Rams, Michael Bennett off top. Kaep had a $14.5M dollar contract and he decided to opt out and nobody has picked him up since then. He’s better than a lot of QB’s and should be playing shyt is foul. I think we all agree with that but why does Jay have to get permission from him? Why didn’t Kaepernick say something and had his girl talk for him? Why doesn’t Jay get the benefit of the doubt or time to see what his plans are? Why is it fukk Jay Z, Jay Z is a sell out, Jay Z only out for self?

Kaepernick settled with the NFL they got him quiet on top of that he signed a multimillion dollar social justice partnership with Nike. The man got his bag on top of that he still would like to play football again.

Jay doesn’t deserve that backlash. He’s done too much. Shawn Carter scholarships, prison reform with Meek, millions in donations throughout his career, Kalief Browder documentary, paid for funerals and built relationships with Sean Bell and Trayvon family, got lawyers for people, put on and empowered so many people with Roc-A-Fella/Roc Nation.

You don’t know what you talking about and you clearly anti-Jay with the corny “wave riding” comments

Jay from day one preached financial independence and black owned business he did that on Reasonable Doubt. That was in 1996. Through all his business ventures he’s literally created a family tree of successful black men and women. In 2003 he started the Shawn Carter Foundation and has given out countless scholarships. In 2006 he donated $1M in Hurricane Katrina relief for New Orleans. He anonymously started a trust fund for Sean Bell’s kids after he was gunned down in 2006.

But nah Jay Z woke wave riding :bryan:

like mysonne said on his youtube video. he was part of the organization fighting for kapernick but kapernick took the settlement money and once you settle, kapernick dont have a voice to speak against the NFL and the message he was fighting for left the movement in a standstill.no hate though

Fam. Jay told OTHER nikkas not to fukk wit the NFL just to turn around and fukk wit the NFL. U dont think that’s a little weird? Im not saying it’s cool to say fukk Jay Z. But there is NOTHING wrong with calling him out on a weird move. There’s people who know the man personally who feel it’s a weird move. But what the hell is the point of saying fukk Kaep? What the fukk did he do to deserve that? My point is why completely disrespect a man who did nothing wrong just cause of ur allegiance to another man? That’s crazy. U don't have to choose sides. nikkas can acknowledge the other good he’s done and simultaneously call him out on some bullshyt. The nikka aint Jesus Christ.

Jay turned down a major bag performing for the NFL. At the time he felt different but people change their minds. :manny:

He sees an opportunity here and all I can say is let the man work before judging him.

Then why call jay a c00n and a sell out

Because all that’s he done is getting forgotten

In 4 days

That’s the wild part

People say he out for his self

When jay could be having tyc00n party’s with

Money phones to his ears and showing off new cars like

50
Baby
And others

Do you see why people look crazy when they say coin and sell out to him?

Just last month he sent lawyers for free to help that black family in AZ

While rocky was in jail I seen people in the damn Coli say

“Rocky in jail some one get jay”

Damn if he was a c00n why mention his name

Why not call on someone else

I for one just wanna let it play out at least until next month he don’t deserve that?

Super Bowl/NFL don't pay for halftime show. The performer does
