I'm skipping though the album quickly and I already know this album is it.

This is the hip hop I love and need. Not that wack ass new raekwon album type music.

Not that new clipse shyt. This is the music we needed.

It's been "out" since Thursday morning and ain't nothing to look for because them shyts are blatant. Empanadas is a whole track addressing his various beefs with women and Benny :dead:

Just saying, ain't nobody reaching or trying to start some shyt :manny:

Leaks ain't "out".

Blatant or not, if dude drops probably the best sh*t we've heard this year and dudes are more focused on the "shots" than the actual music, that's corny. And that's the problem with "fans" today. We know who Gibbs doesn't like already. We've known for years. Let's get back to the beats and rhymes. The gossipy sh*t takes away from the body of work.

The project definitely gets better lyrically towards the 2nd half, but there is no good trademark flows or delivery imo to get me hyped in contrast to YOD1 which had stuff like "Yeah Yeah" or "Walk it Off", heck there no "Baby $hit" type of stuff either :yeshrug: Lot of it feels like it's going in one ear and out the other. JID was cool but Tyler and Conway had great features on the first, plus solid from Ross + Benny. I know I'll probably enjoy it more upon further listens.

You didn't hear Feeling? :mjtf:

The only thing I don't really like is the subject matter on a lot of these. Majority of the rhymes are about whores,

That's what I came for, not really interested in Benny's views on the state of Hip-hop or Palestine :yeshrug:

CLIPSE gave me the Bezos of Nasal shyt, Bennie the Warhol of whore lore.

Be mad at Gibbs because he's the one giving you the gossipy shyt in the music you want us to focus on.

This here.

Gibbs been rapping about whores since the "Sumthin' U Should Know" and "Playa" days when he was running with Skee. That's been his whole sh*t.

His subject matter been the same damn near 20 years, lol. But I also think a lot of dudes don’t really know his catalogue like that.

This is way better than the first to me. Think the first was a bit overrated. Beats were kinda boring. Been disappointed with Alc’s production the past few years. Too repetitive and by the numbers. But he got it in his bag on this one. And most importantly he brought the drums!....not trying to hear no more of that drumless bullshyt. This right here is where Alc shines.

Gibbs also came strong with the flow. This is prolly the sharpest he's ever sounded. Rapping with authority. Enunciating all his words. And he's sitting in the pocket like never before. Didn't fall off beat even once. He just keeps getting better. This is definitely album of the year off first listen. Easy 4.5 mics for me. Not a single skip. Gibbs is officially number 2 behind Kendrick and nobody else comes close. This is sounding like his best album right now. Even better than bandana.

"Ensalada" and "Feeling" are instant classics. Paak and Larry killed their features. These are two of the greatest beats I've heard from Alc in the past decade. Gibbs and Al's chemistry is undeniable. They elevated eachother to special place on this one :wow:

I was nervous as hell as the album kept going cause I was worried it would taper off. But it only kept getting better :damn:....this is definitely gonna end up a 5/5 for me. I can already tell.

Spreadie going for nikkas. That last one hurt the Spitta fan in me though. I'm sure he's not looking at Alc some kind of way.....but I would be lol
