I POSTED ABOUT MY FRUSTRATIONS WITH MY TWO TOXIC COWORKERS EARLIER THIS YEAR IN THE FOLLOWING THREAD:
www.thecoli.com
I just checked my phone a few hours ago while I'm on one of my off days and saw that I had several texts from other coworkers saying one of the two toxic-ass women that works with us was officially terminated this morning after loss prevention caught on to her committing fraud for over 20 sales transactions over the past month
TL/DR of the background: This (now former) coworker and the other one who's still with us were basically allowed to do whatever they wanted for a whole year at the retail chain that we work at because our old general manager who originally hired them was trying to sleep with them and every other female coworker that he hired soon after he came onboard with us in 2024.
Both of these girls are sneaky, lying drug addicts. Rather than simply shutting down our old manager's advances or calling HR on him, from what I heard from the other women I work with, they used the sexual text messages that he sent them as blackmail against him so they could have the leverage to do virtually whatever they wanted to do. Show up two hours late, disappear from the floor for up to an hour, refuse to do any work that involved them having to do more than check out customers, steal anywhere from $10 to $30 out of the registers, and oftentimes just straight up no-show with no explanation.
And because our dumbass former manager was too busy trying to fukk them right after he hired them and allowed them to collect dirt on him thanks to the texts he sent, they suffered zero consequences while he was with us. No write ups, no records of anything that they did that was against corporate policy. Nothing.
But now, after our old GM passed away unexpectedly at the end of December and we had been given a part-time GM who could only come into the store 2 days a week, as of last Sunday we now have a full-time GM who's known and well-respected by upper management and let some of us know in private that she's been keyed in on all the drama that we've been dealing with over the past year and that she wouldn't tolerate any fukkery from them
One down, one more to go
First song that popped into my head once I found out the news:

Frustrated with my toxic coworkers dragging the rest of my team down at work
* WARNING: LONG-WINDED RANT INCOMING, BUT fukk IT, I NEED TO VENT :aicmon: * First, some background. I work in a smaller retail chain, was promoted to floor manager at the beginning of 2024, and our store's organizational hierarchy goes as follows: sales associates ---> floor managers (3...
