The decent ones are like $5 a month if you want to step up at some point.

Free VPN for mobile, Just opera for PC. Be warned though, downloading tor, automatically puts you under the watch of the FBI (and no I'm not joking). shyt is associated with buying drugs and viewing child porn.

But it allows torrents where a lot of the free ones don't protect torrent traffic.

I'm in security so I understand why people think Tor is secure, but once I heard the feds had their hands in it I just assume it's one giant honeypot. Most people have no clue how deep the US governments surveillance program goes. I wouldn't be shocked to hear they already cracked AES256 encryption.

I'd imagine they did, call me a conspiracy theorists but I don't think there is or that they would allow something to exist that they can't bypass

I would say that a free VPN is better than no VPN BUT there is reason to believe that the NSA secretly runs many free VPNs. Probably some for pay ones too. So use discretion.
