Determinism: the belief that all events are caused by things that happened before them and that people have no real ability to make choices or control what happens
Free Will: the ability of agents to make choices unimpended by certain prevailing factors

these are sort of elementary definitions for these terms, but they sum the beliefs up so much....
their are other sort of beliefs like fatalism etc. but these 2 are really the two major ones
