Freemasonry, somebody put me up on a lil game

I ont know much of nothin but that it's origins are in ancient Africa(even predating Ancient Kemet) and that's pretty much it.

I just need somebody to point me in the right direction so I can avoid wasting time and money siphoning through the bullshyt cac resources out there.
I had just received a book in the mail yesterday titled "Freemasonry at a glance " by Reynold Blight or sumn like that and like two pages in I had to can that shyt. Duke was talmbout it's origins were in some euro country in the 17th or 18th century and I just knew it was propaganda


I really wanna up my knowledge on this man cause if this is the religion/organization (I ont evn kno wat to call it) that our ancestors were using that assisted in the building of the sphinx, pyramids, etc etc, than its something I feel we're obligated to kno bout.

But on a deeper level than that I guess I'm really just in search of sumn to have some semblance of faith in. And not necessarily on some skydaddy shyt, but something a little more grounded and practical.

It's a lot of rituals and ceremonies you have to remember as well but going into masonry you have to confess that you already believe in a God or higher power. If you're an atheist or agnostic and not sure I don't think they will let you join but I'm not sure. But the networking is great my mentor had a lot of connections from being a mason.

There's a lot of books and like @ba'al said, you want to get that African knowledge of it. If you're interested in joining, you have to approach a mason, I believe. I guy I used as my plumber was a mason and I talked to him about it twice. And the next thing I know I got a phone call from a Prince Hall Mason, and came real close to joining, but my lady was throwing a fit because her last bf was a mason and she said all they done was party and try to fukk women they'd invite to their gatherings. So I never went through the interview process. But it doesn't hurt to ask a mason.

everything? Or do they share a different understanding of who and what God is?
Bcuz No disrespect at all, but if the former, is that not the white man's interpretation of him? I remember in another video of Professor James Small, in essence he said that the Africans referred to God as the totality of creation itself (don't quote me on that).
I ain't tryna come off like I know it all, cause I ont really kno shyt yet,but just curious if they haven't got caught up in the Eurocentric credos of Freemasonry and wat it originally stood for

I wouldn't be interested in joining for the social standing per se and to smash broads but to gain a deeper understanding of our existence .

And as for coming across any masons irl, that's prolly gonna be a negative. I just moved OT to a bumfukk city in TN(business reasons) so I doubt I ever meet any unfortunately

From my understanding freemasonry is all about rebuilding the temple aka the human body.

square and the compass is the union of opposites coming together making a new man, if you want use those terms. Aka light and darkness, male and female gods and men. There is a reason why all this gender neutral , transexualism and transhumanism is on the rise. It is the great work at work

I don't have any links off hand, there's this brother on twitter and instagram who goes by the name of @raspy_rawls, he does a lot of research on a lot of different topics, and I know he touches on freemasonry. He has a lot pdf books that he has available for download, but I think you have to donate some money to him.

In terms of where you living, you'd be surprised who is a mason. When you go out to the stores pay attention to license plates, or decals. Pay close attention to older Black men, they may be wearing a masonic ring or something. There might be a local chapter that's close enough to where you live. I think the saying is "their light shines everywhere" or something like that.
